Werdegang / Hintergrund

I am a singer and multi-instrumentalist, which means that I accompany myself on the piano, accordion or double bass when necessary. I originally studied classical singing. During a vocal crisis, I fell in love with the chanteuse genre and have since cultivated a growing repertoire of hits and chansons with a focus on the 1920s to 1950s. My heart beats just as warmly for national and international folk songs, pop and rock songs, jazz standards or younger evergreens. And of course, if you want, I also love singing pieces from the classical repertoire.

Senior citizens fascinate and touch me: I encounter so much life in every contact. Sometimes verbal, sometimes non-verbal. Either way, it enriches my humanity.
