The German pianist Lisa Maria Schachtschneider has lived in Eastern Switzerland for 10 years and is a sought-after soloist, accompanist and chamber musician. She performs regularly in many cities in Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein, Italy and Switzerland.
In recent years she has played concerts as part of the international classical music festival Palermo Classica in Sicily, as part of the Konstanz Choir Festival, as part of the Winterthur Music Festival and the Swiss festival FEMALECLASSICS and as a soloist with the Appenzeller Chamber Orchestra in eastern Switzerland. In January 24 she led a two-and-a-half-week tour with her west-east trio One World through six major cities in India.
In parallel, Lisa Maria Schachtschneider has been playing her stage piano at around 40 events a year since 2018, such as company parties, weddings, aperitifs, Christmas parties and funeral ceremonies.
Special highlights included performances at the "Female Future Festival" Bregenz 2022, at the Uniball St. Gallen 2019, at the Mineralheilbad St. Margarethen 2023 and at the "New Year's Eve Gala Dinner" at the Hard Rock Hotel Davos 2023.
In 2021, Lisa Maria Schachtschneider took over the artistic co-direction of the Eastern Swiss concert series KISSS (Concerts-Art-Culture in Sennwald-Salez-Sachs). Since 2023, Lisa Maria Schachtschneider has held an organist position in her home community of Quarten and from 2009 to 2015 she was a piano lecturer at the University and Music Academy of Würzburg.
